Executive Director Wanted for GatewayJFK

 

The Board of Directors of GatewayJFK, formerly known as the Greater JFK Business Improvement District (BID), is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to serve as its Executive Director, a unique opportunity to make a difference within and beyond the District itself.

GatewayJFK is the 73rd NYC BID, a public-private partnership and 501(c)3 organization providing neighborhood services, improvements and advocacy for the District’s off-airport cargo community and all who live, work or visit this Springfield Gardens neighborhood of Queens. A vital link in the global supply chain, GatewayJFK is a distinct and unique NYC neighborhood of major economic significance to the region, the nation, and the world. 

The Executive Director is the primary full-time staff member supported by project management/operations staff, consultants as well as a communications team, ensuring the District’s brand is consistent and active. The position requires occasional nights and weekend days primarily associated with community and industry meetings/events and out of office District fieldwork and outreach to District members.
